Corey Luke

Saxophone

“Music is forever; music should grow and mature with you, following you right on up until you die.” — Paul Simon

An alumni of American Fork high school and under the direction of John Miller, Corey is delighted to once again be playing for Mr. Miller.

Corey now resides in Lehi, Utah. A home where he and his beautiful wife raised three very musically talented daughters.

His musical influences are primarily baritone sax players. Greats like Joe Temperly, Leo Parker, and Serge Chaloff are primary.  Recently, Corey has been enamored with the sound of Paul Desmond on alto sax.

“I have learned more, musically speaking, from my fellow band members than any other single source. The Wasatch Show Band has given me the opportunity to right a 20-year wrongdoing. I put my horn away for much too long. My heart is alive once again.”
